Job Description

​

OVERALL:
Ensure effective management of all matters related to foreign workers, hostels (including Executive Suites), transporter, industrial and employee relations and Sick bay.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To putaway shipment arrival for goods with pallet stickers & manage replenishment of stocks from bulk location to pick face

• To collect DO/PCL from the reporting supervisor for picking

• To ensure pick correct quantity as per unit of measurement (UOM) in picking document (ie. DO/PCL)

• For carton pick (below 50 cartons, write the 5 digits DO number or past picking label and total number of carton on the right corner of the carton box

• For loose item pack in DKSH carton box, to segregate food and non-food item and write the total quantity each/inner on the flap of the carton box

• Once completed, the picker to pull the stocks to the assigned area

REQUIREMENTS:

• PM Certificate/working in warehouse environment would be added advantage

• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position or willing to learn.

• Hard working in similar environment would be an added advantage

• Product knowledge; picking procedure; able to drive power truck and Reach Truck.

• Physically fit to perform the job and ability to read/write and understand Bahasa Malaysia and simple English

• Able to communicate of any arising issues related to picking activity

• Ability to make quick decisions during unexpected situations or in an emergency
